It amazes me that there are so many people here that feel that way
/talk is dead for that very reason. When you tell everybody to fuck off (and then they DO) all that's left are a couple of miserable pricks saying "alright" to each other all day fucking long.

/offtopic seems a bit less tedious than that
There are some genuinely fucking brilliant comments on here every day. Proper LOL moments

I agree
this is how /talk used to be, and why I started poting there in the first place. Proper conversations and a good laugh. I much prefer it over here these days.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to have the odd mentaller in though

But there's mental and MENTAL

Bert was fun because he'd be annoying, be annoying, be annoying
and then break down in spectacular fashion.

Frank isn't even half the poster, or man, that Bert was.

it's annoying, because when he wants to be, he's fucking funny

Definitely
Baldmonkey shouldn't have left. Ok, he shouldn't have gone mental and started being horrible to people that liked him either, but still.

I imagine this is a busy time of year for him though, what with the Proms being on and all.

Indeed
Those orchestras aren't going to piss on themselves!
