Also, yet another failure in attempting to impose a "state" on a collection of tribes, see also Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, etc.
I bet most Americans don't even realise there ate different varieties of Moslems (Sunni/Shiite/etc) and they hate each other. Chuck Israel into the middle of that and you have major shit just waiting to happen.
