Alt: Not really, but sort of...
A couple of years ago I played a gig down in London, hosted by the, then relatively unknown, Mercury-prize nominated folk bloke Sam Lee.
He was particularly fascinated by an Indian drone instrument we were using, called a Shruti Box, asking several questions about what it was, etc.
When his album came out a year or so later I read a review in the Guardian about how interesting it was that it featured him playing an unusual Indian drone instrument called a Shruti Box.
Technically this would be considered an influence, rather than stealing.
