They are like beast of the field.
They should be culled along with their ignorant and boorish progeny. It's kinder, and most importantly cheaper, in the long run.

It's the modern day equivalent of a Court Jester.
Even the evictions on Big Brother are similar to beheadings.

Basically, we haven't moved past medieval times, but human rights violations have stopped all the best bits.
