I suspect it's less than that, mate.
Not every woman has two.

are there?
Edit - even so, a reasonable proportion of women have fewer than two fallopian tubes, so it'll still be less than one.
I can't believe this is actually being discussed, but I suppose I did start it, so it's my own fucking fault.

SCIENCE!
This is an excellent discussion, and I now require an answer as to what the average number of fallopian tubes per person is.

About 20% of the female population of the UK have a hysterectomy before they are 60.
adjusting for population spread, about 22% of the female popluation are over 60, so we're looking at minimum of 4.5% of the female population. So, statistically in the UK, that would mean 61.43M fallopian tubes for 63.18M population. or 0.97 fallopian tubes per person.
Since you asked. Although this doesn't allow for any ladies born without them in the first place so the real number is less than 0.97.

ok, but to one significant figure the answer is probably still 1

1 significant figure? you might as well not bother if you're fannying around at that level of inaccuracy, Thedoveston.

A strong start, and good attention to detail.
The employment of age reference was done well, but in the end the margin for error wasn't passionate enough, so I'm afraid I can only give this statistical analysis a 6.

Well, the call starts of in london, at a 1:1 ratio of how much it costs.... so to make things simple, if you were calling your local take-away, lets say that cost £1.
Now if you were calling someone in Cardif, then that might be 2:1, £2 a minuite, but they talk a bit longer there and its hard to work out the accent, so really it's 2.3:1, so that minuite conversation will be £2.46
Then moving out a bit, next up would be New York, which is really far away, they talk fast so that compensates a bit, but they don't deliver.
Thing is though, it goes in a "Radius", that's a circle, which is round like a wheel of a car (or bike/truck). So when you call up Cardiff, someone in Paris will be able to listen in. And with new york, well, that'll reach timbucktoo.
But you want to call up Callifornia, so we're looking at a 22:1 ratio by the time you consider that their recepetionist flirts a bit. And going the other directions, that covers Kolkata, south africa and russia.
