The last time I did mushrooms I danced a lot to a great rare groove set being played by some DJ in the living room
and when some girl drunkenly started dancing with me, I asked her to get out of the way as I was trying to look at the light on the mixing desk which had a tie-dye cloth over it to reduce the glare.

The last time I did them was about a month ago at Hawkwind.
It was great.

Are you on them now?

No coffee and biscuits.

That does sound good.
Were Hawkwind any good? I lost track of them after Lemmy formed his own group.

They're better now than they have been since the late 80s.
Great projections/light show and stage show/set as well, a fantastic night out.

Do they use the Fruit Salad Light Bar?
I enjoyed them with the Ozrics.

I was watching a nostalgia show where they were interviewing various peeps about the drugs - Lemmy was on saying how the amount they did was absolutely ridiculous, and you'd be off your tits, drunk, and think "Oo look - some orange juice - refreshing!", neck it, to find it had been laced with more acid.

Going onto stage, seeing these things ... picking them up ... making noises ...

Pretty intense and hilarious stuff.

Don't know who does their lights, it was definitely Fruit Salad in the 80s.
And Liquid Len and the Lensmen in the 70s.

I missed seeing this guy's light show at a Nicolas Jaar gig here on Sunday :(

Apparently the gig was quite disappointing though.

There's a 60s/70s night in town called Heavy Load that has good lights.

There's a psych night in Birmingham, with all the lights and that, that I keep meaning to go to
But I don't really care for nightclubs.

A word of warning:
Birmingham.
