Alt, got a few hundred 'shrooms though, I haven' t taken psychedelics since the nineties. Looking forward to it, but a bit nervous. Are you looking forward to/ nervous about anything? Again, no YMs please.

Good Morning Pook
I'm tired. This manifests itself as everything aching. I blame the government or coloureds or something, as I'm sure it's nothing to do with me burning the candle at both ends.
What haven't I used for a while? My laptop since buying an ipad. My car. My awesome telescope for observing the heavens.
Alt: I'm looking forward to Xmas, going to Barcelona and the merriment that surrounds the festive season.

The last time I did mushrooms I danced a lot to a great rare groove set being played by some DJ in the living room
and when some girl drunkenly started dancing with me, I asked her to get out of the way as I was trying to look at the light on the mixing desk which had a tie-dye cloth over it to reduce the glare.
(, Thu 10 Oct 2013, 8:37, Reply)
The last time I did them was about a month ago at Hawkwind.
It was great.

(, Thu 10 Oct 2013, 9:19, Reply)

(, Thu 10 Oct 2013, 9:27, Reply)
That does sound good.
Were Hawkwind any good? I lost track of them after Lemmy formed his own group.
(, Thu 10 Oct 2013, 8:41, Reply)
They're better now than they have been since the late 80s.
Great projections/light show and stage show/set as well, a fantastic night out.
(, Thu 10 Oct 2013, 8:43, Reply)
Do they use the Fruit Salad Light Bar?
I enjoyed them with the Ozrics.

I was watching a nostalgia show where they were interviewing various peeps about the drugs - Lemmy was on saying how the amount they did was absolutely ridiculous, and you'd be off your tits, drunk, and think "Oo look - some orange juice - refreshing!", neck it, to find it had been laced with more acid.

Going onto stage, seeing these things ... picking them up ... making noises ...

Pretty intense and hilarious stuff.
(, Thu 10 Oct 2013, 8:48, Reply)
Don't know who does their lights, it was definitely Fruit Salad in the 80s.
And Liquid Len and the Lensmen in the 70s.

I'm a little hungover.
The only thing near a hallucinogen I've taken is 2ci. Up until then I'd always maintained I'd stay away from them as I'm quite anxious and miserable and don't think they'd agree with me. This worked nicely though.

I've also had mild hallucinations off MDMA; I once found myself in a warehouse party where I mistook a girl sat against the wall for a stool. By that point I'd already gone through the 'everyone's wearing NHS specs' phase.
