She's no idea about this place or I'd have been fucked right up a long time ago.
I may have said that the only way our daughter will inherit anything from her side of the family is if her builder dad has managed to nick enough bricks from work to build her a house. I may also have described her most recent boyfriend as 'a middle-aged, washed up alcoholic cyclist who plays MP3s of middle-of-the-road dance music to children' and accused her of 'hanging around Shoreditch like a past it loser looking for some other poor twat to bankroll your pitiful existence'.

That kind of thing. In my (puny) defence these were all reactions to infinitely worse things said to me, but I lost my cool and this is bad.

I done fucked up.
It all came from me telling her (genuinely nicely and politely) that I was worried that she hadn't scaled down her expectations since splitting up from her (very wealthy and high-spending) ex earlier this year, and that being a cunt to me about extra money for school uniform when I've picked my kid up from restaurants three times in the past month, and her recent party outfit was from Monsoon, is a bit much given how poor I am.
