turns out minis have shit brakes and roll really easily if you clip a kerb while desperately trying not to spin.
They are pretty strong for their size, though.

Bizarrely I didn't have a scratch
neither did any of the records on the back seat I'd just bought.
Car was proper fucked though, no glass left in it and one side of the roof a foot or more lower than it should have been.
One way to learn not to drive like a dickhead, I guess.
