was expecting it to be too strong for me, but didn't seem any stronger than normal strength.
Mind you I only had about a large double, couple more might have been different, especially after beer and wine already.....

I usually add a little water to strong ones
I had a gorgeous Auchentoshan which was 56% the other weekend. It needed a drop. Most whiskies don't need it, especially not the sweet ones.

Also, Balvenie Signature is well lush, get all over dat one.

My dad would disagree
He's an "always add water" guy. But just a tiny bit, take a sip, add a bit more, take a sip etc until you've determined the right amount for this whisky.

The Bunnahabhain I'm drinking at the moment literally only needs the first splash.
