I'm messing with you, they'll be fine, but good ski gloves that are waterproof and breatheable are an important thing if you do it more regularly, but y'know ... buy them in the sales, like everything else.

but we'll see. i am irritated that 3 days of extras like ski passes etc is all adding up - i could have gone to the Caribbean for a whole fucking week for this!

actually the social side of things sounds amazing. and even the chalet has a hot tub and pool table and table tennis etc. it's just the actual frightening steep slopey things...

It'll take a while to get used to it but persevere. It's the one thing I've come across that almost everyone enjoys once they can do it, regardless of other sporting abilites.
