How have your Sundays been?

I've successfully bleached my hair after gazing in horror at the bash photos from Friday. Didn't go too orange and no hot burnyness on my scalp unlike the last time I tried it, but it is very very pale blonde with white roots. So I'll leave it a few days before actually dying it to get it to the colour I want. *slaps on more intensive conditioner*

Home bleaching is not for the faint hearted. I've had my hair colour brown, black and various shades of red but never had the urge to go blonde.

I'm a natural blonde
but it's about 15 years since I last saw my natural hair colour. I know from photos that it goes very pale blonde in summer, so this isn't too far off that, just needs tweaking really.

My hair's been pretty much every colour there is, but it's only blonde that requires a shitload of conditioner or it looks and feels like straw

I'm not colouring my hair anymore and haven't done for years.
I am embracing my grey hair and boy is it grey. I didn't really notice how grey it was till I started growing it.

I've seen your facebook pics with blonde hair. It looks really nice.

As for spending Sunday....I've been moping about as usual.

I have too much time on my hands at the weekend and I think about stuff and get sad. I'm sort of seeing someone and he lives abroad and I miss him most at the weekends.

Also I thought that this summer I could spend gadding about the countryside walking and stuff but it's always bloody raining.


I will of course be very happy weekend after next.

Edit: BGB Can always go walking in the country in the rain. My parents forced/encouraged us to go on many walks in the lake district as kids when it was pissing down. Lots of kendal mint cake and a good cagoul and you'll be fine :) Good thing is, as it's pissing down you won't have tons of people there either!

I had a friend whose hair was several different colours at once somehow through dying. The purple stood out quite a lot.

BK: that's why you want to make friends with a physio. It's like a free personal physio, it's great.

had to do boring household chores due to having been out so much recently. But I also managed to do some writing and it's been a while since I've done any, so I feel pretty good about that.

Well I'm working monday, tuesday and wednesday. Then on thursday I'm packing for going to N. Ireland, then on friday going up to Glasgow and flying to Northern Ireland. Going to a wedding and playing at the reception on saturday, fly back sunday evening.

So that, and trying to finish my uni proposal some evening. And maybe music stuff at some point. And send some emails I need to.

No, we lost 12-9, which sounds bad but was a solid 90 minutes of 5-a-side and I was on pretty good form.
Think it's a tweaked muscle which I did in the first minute, and then ignored so I shall be so stiff (not in a good way) tomorrow.

I also have ignored the writing - sure I could do 500 fictional words relating to blood. Trying to veer away from the Anne Rice bullshit, of course.

I wanted to dye my hair when I was younger, but would have to bleach it first as it's so dark to start with.

I've done this several times now in the last few years and each time have given up and gone back to having very dark hair as I haven't gotten the bleaching stage right. So now just need to persevere with it.

Pale/honey blonde BK. Should be alright I reckon. Not too many hairs have broken so far as I've been piling on the conditioner since I started bleaching last night.
