I wish I was allowed a gun.
When the 2011 riots kicked off in my area, they would have been a lot shorter-lived.

We didn't have rioting thankfully.
Just watched it on the telly. What area are you?
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:15, Reply)
East.
Luckily there aren't that many good places to shop directly nearby, so it wasn't too bad, but if I'd had my own machine-gun I would have sorted it out mange toute.

And then I gunned my Honda Accord and drove into him, trapping him against a wall!

Precisely.
I don't know how to drive, but I reckon with my military background I could figure out the business end of a machine gun and have a crack at being Rambo for an hour or so.

I've got a military background, too!
What unit were you with? I was with 1st Squadron Guildford Air Cadets between August 1992 and June 1993!*

Or 1993 and 1994, I forget. I mean, I repressed it all.

I was with the school cadets too!
I can't remember what we were called.

I just remember being sent to train with the real army, and the RSM or whatever asking what the fuck that was on the end of my wrist, and after replying "Er ... my hand, Sir ... " and him giving the squad 50 press-ups, realising he was referring to all the bracelets and crap I had tied around it.

Good to meet another military man
amongst all these liberal art student pricks.

I drank whisky at the weekend

Is whisky the name of your dog?

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 16:01, Reply)
He is a tasty pooch

I walked through it after work after my old boss thought it was all a hoax that the City Centre had been evacuated.
