Just got an email from the Enterprise Monitoring Manager
saying if we want Splunk on our desktops we should raise a ticket.

Well, he didn't say it exactly like that BUT HE SHOULD HAVE.

Seriously, we are using www.splunk.com/?r=header for Enterprise-y stuff. Apparently access to our Splunk is highly controlled. You can extend the power of Splunk with special tools.
