from that time he didn't meet you?

Started negotiations with my tenants for them to buy it
They seem to want to pay approx £20,000 more than I thought, so thats a good start
(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 13:51, Reply)
have you had it valued?

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 13:51, Reply)
It was valued at 250k about 15 months ago

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 13:52, Reply)
Trouble is, thats a bad price for stamp duty woes

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 13:52, Reply)
get it revalued, it'll be closer to 270.

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 13:54, Reply)
This is the plan
I'll save £6k by waiting until next Feb on mortgage penalties and also cash on estate agents too

win win situation

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 13:58, Reply)
Why not keep it as a long term investment?

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 13:58, Reply)
I want the equity to build an extension on the house we are in now
Long term I want another property to let out.
(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 14:02, Reply)
might be worth getting planning permission before selling; just in case you can't get it, then you can keep the place.

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 14:03, Reply)
Thats already sorted
3m extension doesnt need it.
(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 14:06, Reply)
oh man, property chat
The 250k thing shouldn't be an issue. The house diagonally across from mine just sold. It was on at 250k and sold in 9 days. The for sale sign hadn't even gone up, it sold that quickly.

Yeah, but that's probably to do with your local windmill and the new high speed rail link

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 14:19, Reply)
the windmill is what everybody wants in their neighbourhood

(, Fri 21 Feb 2014, 14:26, Reply)
