i don't know anywhere called that now
there is a lovely restaurant right on the seafront called the boathouse, maybe it turned into that? or lots of pubs that do that sort of thing, all along the front.

I am sure they used to do a Mayday thing there with greased pole fighting etc. (70's childhood blog)
