I got a flying lesson for my birthday a few years ago
Really REALLY good! I got to take off, fly around for an hour and land again. Much more involved than I thought it would be

I got to basically choose where we flew
Went right over Newcastle city centre, down the Tyne, along the seafront to Sunderland and back over Consett, round a massive TV transmitter
