You're usually more relaxed after a few drinks, so you can often walk away from quite serious accidents unscathed

3% of all accidents are caused by speeding and 2% by drink drivers
Which means a whopping 95% are caused by people driving too slowly or too sober. If every tried drinking AND speeding at the same time we would see a 190% drop in road traffic accidents. Probably.
