Perhaps a person needs to be an uncultured juvenile in order to do so.
Certainly the overwhelming number of crammed-full chain bars would back this theory up.

As a 34 year old it was distinctly underwhelming.

You found their lack of onions disturbing

I found their lack of shirts considerably more so.

You could have just avoided the packed full chain bars.
There's plenty of hidden gems in Manchester.

Is the Queen of Hearts still there, in Fallowfield?

it is but it's changed name and ownership.
Trying to be a posh bar now. Called whatever number it is on the street.

is snog rip-off yogberries still there?
i was so gutted when the wilmslow one closed. not even a pretence at it being healthy. caramel and chocolate frozen yoghurt smothered in chocolate and sweets and hot fudge sauce ftw.

when i worked in didsbury, fallowfield was a shithole and didsbury was too expensive for students
now fallowfield seems to be full of blocks of designer 2 bed, 2 bath flats and didsbury is full of rich students

I like it in Fallowfield. I like my leafy suburbs.
I can deal with the students now too. it makes it all the more fun when they fuck off home for christmas.

The best hidden gem I found was the A56.
Hardly any traffic southbound. Beautiful.
