I've got no booze that's suitable for sitting at home on a Friday night.
Absinthe isn't quite right for that.

but I've got loads of stuff to do, mostly involving repairing music/PA gear for people.
Only thing is, I can't be arsed doing any of it as there's no hurry to get it done. Even though it will make me a bit of cash.

And have just had my first ladies occasion for 4 years which has resulted in my bursting into tears over a parking ticket yesterday, and mostly throwing things at walls and hitting inanimate objects today.
And shouting fuck a lot.
Being like this is also not condusive to fine sewing work I have discovered.
Also, TRL, my internet is already running at piss poor bandwith, if any more images appear I will be forced to put you ignore due to my browser crashing.

Its a miracle!
My Daughter, totally knackered after her first week in real not nursery school flaked out on the sofa an hour ago.
She is now deposited gently in bed, leaving me free to develop a deep but brief relationship with some of my wine!
I may be ultra lazy and order a curry delivery!
Damn the house is quiet!

Careful, MM.
I've been having to live with a woman who goes through wild mood swings, and after two years of this I've suggested she find another place to live. Being utterly irrational and moody is grounds for becoming suddenly single.

Whats a posh curry BGB ? ... is that when you wait long enough to put it onto a plate rather than falling on it like Ghengis Khan and his horde after a jolly long ride and just scarfing it out of the tub with the first bit of cutlery you can find. :)

TRL- I have 4 years worth of PMS
saved up, and they are hitting me like a brick in the face. I have been on injections that I was recently informed are likely to give me osteoperosis, so I have been forced to stop.
I am not happy.
Also, other than yesterday I don't think I've cried in several years. I am not an emotional woman by any stretch of the imagination.
EDIT: Halfy, apparently they won it at a fair.

It's a posh curry place. The food is great. You don't get huge servings of greasy curry and you can actually taste the different spices in it. They give you advice on what's the best rice to go with certain curries and everything. It's great.

Thanks, but I'm okay.
It's still unfolding, so venting at this point is likely ill-advised. The only thing I'll say is that I've now had three significant relationships in my life that involved cohabitation, and all three have resulted in the women going mental. Makes me think of the Demotivators poster that says DYSFUNCTION: the one common link in all your bad relationships is you.
I bought a huge pile of chocolate at lunch and have eaten enough calories to fuel my body for the next week.

Curry cures all
Ahhh I see BGB
A posh sit down curry.
There is this great place in Cardiff Bay called the Spice Merchant. They have a big jolly Sikh doorman dressed in lovely bright robes to escort you in from the street and they serve REAL Indian food.
Its one of my favourite resturants ever, and I am an old bugger who has travelled much of the world. So to find such a gem on my own doorstep is wonderful.
I think you need to cheer TRL up and take him out to a good Indian resturant when he is down your way. Those spices and chillies are such a boost to your system it can be almost addictive!

Thanks. There was some discussion last week about men in kilts, so I stuck up a new pic.

Who's that kid in the back of the room?
He's setting all his papers on fire
Where did he get that crazy smile?
We all think he's really weird
We never talk to him
He never looks quite right
He laughs at us
We just beat him up
What he sees escapes our sight
We never see him with the girls
He's talking to himself again
Why doesn't he want tons of friends?
Says he's bored when we hang around
He says we're growing old...

Madam Marlboro, I was a hormonal fucking mess when I came off the Pill after 4 years. I was so hormonal I burst into tears in the middle of a shopping centre when I saw a giant picture of Ronan Keating, because "he's so beautiful" (that's how fucked up I was).
Stupidly I did not learn my lesson and actually went back on the Pill for a while. Having tried 5 different brands I can safely say that hormonal birth control turns me into an emotionally unstable idiot who fears sex. That's bad for me, fearing sex. But we've had this conversation before, I remember. I fear hotmonal injections even more.
Natural birth control FTW. (Remind me I said that when I get knocked up.)

I got a vasectomy about 15 years ago and have never regretted it. A woman would have better luck getting pregnant from a cucumber than from me.
Unexpected fatherhood is one thing I'm glad I no longer need worry about.

But if there's an apocalyptic scenario, I'd like to have the option of repopulating the world.

One of the fun things
about working as an engineer here is that we have all manner of odds and ends of machinery lying about.
So I went downstairs and got a pair of the 1.5" diameter ball bearings from a Type IIIAS climber screen and a couple of bushings to store them on, and now have a pair of those accupressure balls that they sell in the Eastern shops. They don't chime, they just rattle together in my palm, but they're somehow soothing.
So now I can sit here with my balls in my hand and not get in trouble.

No, not terribly. It looks to me like there's no feasible way for McCain to win, especially with that moonbat happyclapper as his VP. At this point it's kind of like having a circus in your front yard- after a time you get tired of clowns and elephant shit.
I do hope that Obama makes it, of course, and have great hopes for him. But I'm also ready to be disappointed.

I've never liked flip phones that much
Had a slide phone once, and it was rubbish, and would often turn itself off for no reason at all, I reckon due to a bad connection between the back battery part, and the front slidy bit*.
I love my current phone, but would love one with wi-fi and gps.
*Technical term.

Mmm...philadelphia cheesy baked potato
*noms a bit*
Mine was a free phone as I had a contract with Orange, but then I got a better one for pennies a month, so haven't used that one since. I prefer the sense of knowing you haven't called someone from your pocket or bag, that you get with a flip phone as I'm really bad at remembering to lock the keypad.

Night all!
Thanks to Kaol's youthful exuberance, I have been subjecting myself to an evening of heavy drinking, music fun and nostalgia.
I go to bed now...happy with the world...knowing I contributed something.

Seem to have no drive to do anything all day today.

You two'll do just dandy
How are we all this evening? I have calmed down, mainly due to having a happy fag.
Leaving school a year early cost me my A levels..

See, MM, you've met me, so know what my voice is like...
Can you confirm that don't sound anything like this in real life?
I think I put an "Essex Filter" on it by accident...
Sound effects? *grins*
I'm seeing a mate of mine tomorrow who makes films, so sound effects will abound!

That's fucking brilliant. Did you have fun?
EDIT: You sound pretty much like you do normally actually. But without your cute little face it's a lot more menacing

Haha, face-less-ness is, perhaps now, a good thing!

Thing is
when you're talking about this stuff in real life you look so excited in a sweet way that it's hard to find it disturbing.
Did you hear about the face rape GB?

Night TGB!
I've found some free sound effect mp3 files...
Actually, they're rubbish.
I'll get the proper ones tomorrow.
I'm going to bed now, as I've gotta deal with some goats in the morning.
