I bought an Apple TV 2 off an old boss, for about £50. I said "It's the old one, you don't have the box, the new one is £99 new....etc etc."Knowing that the Apple TV 2 is hackable and rare, so goes for about £250 on ebay at the time.

Is there much call for them now there's the raspberry pi and there are so many android / linux tv boxes these days?I've got a htpc with xbmc on it, it's the shit. One of the plugins (genesis) will let me stream any tv show i care to think of.

I think there is because of AirPlay, but naturally the win/android/nix would use Miracast instead. I use a WDTVLive at the moment, but they've just bought out Plex for XboxOne, so I want one of them instead now.
