It did say that prime instant is only available over wifi and cant be downloaded if that helps

I've looked now. Thanks to you introducing me to Google.
You can download Prime but it has time limits on it i.e. it expires after a specified period.

The Sky Go app does the same
You can get stuff for 30 days but it lasts 48 hours from starting to watch it
