Toast and fancy jam in the week. proper fry up on the weekends. always with a cup of tea. milk in first.
If you get a midweek day off, pancakes with maple syrup and bacon.
Altalt: I'll take neither thanks.

Well I wouldn't go that far, a little splash on top seems fairly complementary to me.

I don't really like breakfast
So I'll say nice granary or whole grain bread or bagel toasted and slathered with crunchy peanut butter and fresh orange (no fucking bits).
Brunch/late weekend breakfast is more tolerable. Omelette or mushrooms and cheese on toast.

Exactly!
Smooth peanut butter and bitty orange juice would be an unbelievable disaster

When I'm at a nice hotel with a good spread, I'll have a three course breakfast
Cereal for starter
Cooked English for main
Pastries for desert

It's like the epitome of difficult but utterly pointless physical endeavour.

You could say that about any sport, though.
Weightlifting? The weights are in the same place as they were before you started, no matter how much you lift.

yeah ... but picking up heavy stuff is a generally useful capability
like running fast or throwing things
hurling yourself into the air on a bendy pole is brilliantly useless

I just think that most of what he posts is bollocks.
Just like *mvee. I don't get anything out of reading posts like that, so why shouldn't I filter them out? If that makes me a sad tosser or whatever, I couldnae care less.

just seems like a very childish way to deal with a problem.
And means you're stopping others from possibly enjoying his content because you don't like him By keeping him out of threads. Maybe try being a grown up and just letting it go, rather than using a frankly bullshit tool on a message board.

I'm not going to agree with your logic on this one.
Granted, he can't post in any of the threads that I personally create, but those threads represent such a small percentage of the total content of B3ta that it's not as if I were throttling his access to the site. I'm not taking issue with your position; I know a lot of people are against the whole concept of 2.0, and choose not to use it. That's fine. Similarly, people who didn't put R*b F**rh*lm* on ignore presumably enjoyed reading his whiny attention-seeking on a weekly basis. I very quickly found it tiresome, and that was that. Just about every newspaper you can buy has pages in the back about football. Don't like football? Don't read them. It doesn't stop you buying the paper and financing the football pages, and it doesn't stop other people reading them.

yeah but it's your choice to not read them.
And you're very aware that at least here in OT it's one thread at a time. Those threads can last hours and you've decided you want to restrict his access because you don't like him. It's fine on qotw, or main board or links because there is a lot of content, but here, that's not true. One large thread at a time, and just because you don't like reading his stuff, you feel it's ok to exclude him like some sort of school play ground bollocks.

OK, serious question before this descends into a massive flamewar:
Does Ignore 1.0 still exist, and if so, how does it work? Because I have no objection whatsoever to Meatsnake or anyone else on my ignore list reading my posts and contributing to the discussion. My goal is not to build a tree house at the bottom of the garden with a sign nailed to the door saying "NO MEATSNAKE". I just don't want to read those contributions.

It does fuck-all on a smart phone anyway because all the log-in stuff is right there
Although not a bad idea. Maybe I'll put him on ignore too.
