I need some advice on italy
Do i go, east coast, sort of near venice, very central sort of near rome or really north sort of milan type area? All 3 are out in the wild and we'll hire a car to cruise about. we'll be going probably in august. GO!!

Alt: if you don't care about me and my holiday, what the fuck do you care about?

Taking a holiday in Europe is just giving good, British money to the hated EU.
If Ukip get in, they'll probably revoke your citizenship.
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 21:48, Reply)
well, in that case, we'll go to Blackpool.

(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:15, Reply)
You'll be doing your bit to fix the British economy.

Florence and Siena are worth a trip.
Pisa is fairly near but it's a bit shit apart from taking a hilarious holding up the tower photo.

If you're doing Florence, then you can do Florence, Bologna, Ferrara, Padua, venice by car.
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 21:58, Reply)
Then go west to Verona and lake Gada.

(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:01, Reply)
this sounds like a good plan!

we've done Florence and pisa, absolutely loved Florence. pisa was a dump.

He prolly went to one of those horrid modern schools where they teach you that the place is called Ercolano and that 'H' is almost extinct in modern Italian, only ever used as a silent orthographic marker, or in non-Italian loan words.
Maybe. I dunno lol.
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 23:00, Reply)
you're nearly as upset as I am

(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 23:04, Reply)
I'm so upset that I'm probably going to have a bath.

Naples is grim as fuck.
It reminded me of Hull.
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:36, Reply)
Rome is beautiful but dirty. Surprisingly cheap as well.
Amalfi coast is gorgeous.
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:00, Reply)
I like the amalfi coast, but we're limited where we can go (piggybacking on a holiday scheme of pig in law)

(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:14, Reply)
You're too sexy for Milan.

(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:23, Reply)
When I was a student, back in 'the day',
we did Verona, Venice, Florence, Siena, and Milan. All heartily recommended, and probably easy enough to get around them.

Alt: Of COURSE I care about your holiday. What kind of monster do you think I am?
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:23, Reply)
Italy is shit windy

what psychochomp said
don't do Rome in August it's a fucking oven, even the sweaty brown locals fuck off to the coast

and try to catch something in the amphitheatre in Verona - it's a properly awesome venue
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:43, Reply)
also as well too ... make sure you HILARIOUSLY recreate that horse race in Siena by galloping around the town square like a twat and falling on your arse on the cobbles
the locals definitely haven't seen anybody do that before and will find you incredibly endearing
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:44, Reply)
I had a proper go at my cab driver today, called him a fucking prick, stuck my fingers up at him, and told him that I can't wait for Uber to run him in into the fucking ground.
He was honking his car at me and everything, tried to over charge me, then the office said he over charged me but was right to charge me some more than the origional quote (even though they knew everything I was doing and had already increased the price accordingly).... I get a £15 journey 4-5 times a week, and they've lost all of that over £3 (although the bloke wanted it to be £5).
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:44, Reply)
easy now, big fella
have a glass of Israeli wine and take a deep breath and think of happy things like puppies and apple watches and that lovely big wank you're going to have later
(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:53, Reply)
C'mon, I get to be non-passive aggressive about once a decade - let me have this.

(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 23:24, Reply)
I'm back!
Daughter's South African wedding was awesome, Turkish Airlines are great, Etihad are useless lying cunts who should all be slowly fed into a mincer feet first after being peeled and rubbed in salted chilli powder.

(, Thu 16 Apr 2015, 22:56, Reply)
