Meantime Pale Ale.

I quite like that.
Any other suggestions.

dunno how widely available, but XT has an excellent red beer. I think it's number 13.
But all of theirs are fucking tip top if you ask me.

Just tops Fosters, that does.

I quite like its ubiquity because it saves me having to ever look at the taps and make a decision.
When I go down south I actually have to think. I don't go to the pub for that!

Draught or bottle?

Depends how your tastes run.
Whitstable Bay Pale Ale came to mind, simply because I haven't had a bottle of that in ages.
I was at the 360° brewery, the other month, and everything they had was good, but nigh on impossible to find outside of East Sussex.

The problem with buying from small breweries, is they just don't have the means of delivering out of their immediate locales.
I picked a load up at the Winter festival in Manc the other month, the only way the breweries would do it, was to swap an empty cask to offset costs.
Microbreweries run on fuck all sadly.

Yep.
As part of the tour (which amounted to standing around in their shed, drinking their beer), it was pointed out that their business was making just enough money to sustain itself. Excellent beer, though.

Yeah, done by a lot of hobbyists. If they can sustain a hobby economically, best of luck.
