It's November tomorrow.
Where did the year go? What have you chaps done? I know it's a bit early to be assessing your achievements for 2008, but hey, I'm bored.

Well looking back my main achievements are:
1) Improving my C.V. drastically following Graduation
2) Getting out my overdraft for the first time in 5 years. (and staying out!)
3) Managing to get pissed most weekends and even made T in the Park.....

hopefully
I will have exactly £0 debt, already cleared my loan and the credit card is being pounded towards owing nothing by the end of the year.
Apart from that I have acheived pretty much fuck all, apart from getting laid by the worlds oddest policewoman.

I've managed
to knock one off the wrist every day this year, apart from the day Humphrey Lyttleton died, as a mark of respect. I did it twice that day.
(contains elements of untruth)

So far
I finished my PhD, got a job, moved to America, and lost some weight.
It's been my most eventful year since I was born.

I
have got a lot better at surfing
bought a shiny new guitar
used said shiny new guitar in a load of paying gigs
and am shortly going to be recording a CD with my band
I've also done up the bathroom in my house, and the living room
oh, and lost quite a bit of weight

Not bad really
Got a semi-permanent job that I adore.
Have a great relationship with a gorgeous fellow b3tan.
Met lots and lots of other b3tans who have all been fantastic.
On the down side -
Had some short stories and poems rejected by various different journals...but such is life.
Had some injuries from mountain biking which have also knackered up my climbing temporarily...but again, that's life.
Haven't made much money - that's the story of my life!
All in all a good year.

Spent
The first quarter of the year learning to drive, the second quarter driving all my friends to and from the pub, in between drinking myself into unconsciousness, the third quarter was divided equally between sleeping and parties, and now I'm at uni, and I've knocked off the booze till Christmas in order to compensate for a rather expensive (for me) purchase. I may come to regret that.
