My best mate...
has just called me and told me that he's got me my 21st Birthday present which puzzled me a little bit 'cause my Birthday ain't till Feb.
The guy has got tickets for us to go and see Metallica w/ Machinehead.

I'm completley stunned but now I have to find a way to get him something for his 21st which is on the same scale as that...any suggestions 'cause I don't have a clue?

Get him one of these.
www.firebox.com/product/1139/TIX-LED-Clock

Best gift I ever recieved. Only takes half an hour to get used to and a brilliant conversation starter.

...not the first time I've recommended this on b3ta.

Scalextrix
Even after all these years it's still a shit-your-pants brilliant present.

@No3L
I'm sorry but that clock would drive me crazy. I need to know what time it is immediately and not need to work it out while having just woke up.

I repeat...
it only takes a short while to get used to, then it kinda becomes second nature. I completely love it... and daughter constantly points it out to her mates :)

A suitcase full of uppers, downers, benders, sliders, movers and shakers..
..and a one-way ticket to Vegas.

Well a good old fashioned
surprise party with all the trimmings is always good.

But you know him better than us - it's the thoughfulness rather than the scale which is important, I think. If there's something he's wanted for years and not been able to find, or something he's wanted to do - no matter how inexpensive or trivial it might seem to anyone else - the amount of thought and effort you put into manifesting it for him will be the thing he remembers most.
