Evening.
Mr Bin is out at his staff dinner tonight so I'm going to be planning maths for the most of the night. (read that as knocking about here)

I've been hooked on that for a couple of weeks too! Its been going around my work for a while and I can't stop playing it

who has just been let out of prison after his conviction for murdering his girlfriend has been overturned.
The reporter just asked him what he was looking forward to. His reply was the birth of his baby in August. *edit* June
Now I know I'm a bit old but last time I looked you couldn't make a baby via e-mail.

But I'm guessing when two people love each other very much...

Sorry, we've not stocked up for Santa yet - can offer you red wine or ouzo?

Re addictive games: I've only just gotten myself a PSP so I'm not sure if I can cope with the shame of finding a flash game that's more addictive than anything I've got for my PSP.
Oh, and Happy b3taday CU.
EDIT: @( . )( . ): I read "Happy b3taday Unders!" as "Happy b3taday Udders!"
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 19:12, Reply)

Evening all.
And happy b3ta day, Miss Underwhelmed. Is it really a year? Doesn't time fly..?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 19:19, Reply)

You know you've been on b3ta too long when more people make a fuss over your b3taday than your real-world birthday.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 19:22, Reply)

although I did get a lovely card made by al yesterday for my real birthday.
I think I'm off to veg out for a bit. I'm in one of those moods.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 19:26, Reply)

Have a nice veg
Looks like I'm all alone. Should I browse the new QOTW or play on my new PSP?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 19:27, Reply)

Firstly a quick plug for my QOTW post:
www.b3ta.com/questions/addicted/post332796
Secondly, how is everyone? I'm just watching "Arrested Development". Fantastic show!
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:10, Reply)

I'm tied between doing my washing, making dinner and browsing b3ta. I might also have a play on my new PSP. How's yourself?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:14, Reply)

I'm ok. Please read my qotw post.
Nowt much is happening with me. I've just been watching dvd's. Finished "The Sopranos" (for the second time), "Arrested Development" (for the third time) and "Jonathan Creek" (for the umpteenth time).
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:22, Reply)

I've been out for an hour and there is only 13 replies on the HSH thread.
Where is everyone?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:24, Reply)

everyone else are apparently in "the real world". Apparently, it's supposed to be nice there. I think it's overrated....

We're here!
In the meantime, I got yet another wrong number on my landline.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:26, Reply)

I've had a beer and everything.
I can't see what all the fuss is about.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:28, Reply)

Maybe we should have a virtual b3ta-bash...
oh wait...
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:35, Reply)

Did you see her bannister?
*stuffing the turkey*
*getting her hands on the meat*
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:45, Reply)

I'm staying well away from this weeks QOTW, it won't be funny or nice, and will bring back far too many bad memories!
But how are you lot tonight?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 20:49, Reply)

I'm fine thanks (even if still a bit pissed off about my bike). How's yourself?
Maybe letting your memories out might be a cathartic experience. Who knows?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:02, Reply)

don't drink, have never smoked. Can't be bothered with sexytime.
Shit I'm boring and not addicted to things.
I guess I could got for computer games, but that only lasts for about two weeks.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:03, Reply)

Nope, I don't think so, when you know where I come from, and just how many of my old friends will never get old, then you'd understand why I'm not touching this with somebody elses!
Mrs Bin, evening, I've never done any serious drugs myself. I do however drink and smoke and would love to get some sexytiem sometime soon!
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:05, Reply)

@Mrs L:
But you hang out here on the HSH threads and have become part of the furniature, so that's something in your favour.
Also, like me, you seem to have a b3ta addiction. In fact, I've not even played on my new PSP since I got off the bus today.
@HDL:
Oh well. I'm glad you got through your troubles and ended up becoming the lovely person that you are.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:08, Reply)

Not my troubles just a hell of a lot of my mates from back home!
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:11, Reply)

I have it on my lap all evening. Mr Bin has his on all evening too. It's quite worrying really.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:17, Reply)

That's just a sign that the two of you are confortable with each other, and in a stable loving relationship!
Aw lovely really
Oh and Spakka, I've never thought of myself as a lovely person, deranged maybe!
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:20, Reply)

I just hate to be one of those smug happily married people.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:32, Reply)

@Mrs L: Do you chat to Mr. Bin using an Internet Chat program when you're both on your laptops?
@HDL: But you are deranged, but in the nice and creative kind of way.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:35, Reply)

It's good to see people happy, it makes me smile!
And I know I'll be the same again one day, hopefully soon.
EDIT Gad having read that it sounds even more fluffeh than HSH normally is!
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:37, Reply)

I also hope things turn out for the best in other people.
EDIT: @HDL: I think Kaol said he was going to be sans Internet for 2 weeks. Perhaps it's started already.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:40, Reply)

We do still talk to each other. Our computers are networked though so we do tend to drop links etc onto each others desk tops.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:40, Reply)

That's so sweet.
Badger have you come to join the fluffehness?
Must remember to not say the c word!
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:44, Reply)

Chocolate is a good word. I must remember to get some for Saturdays bash!
It's the other C word I'm thinking of.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:49, Reply)

cunt?
But how am I supposed to say the much loved Tourette's coined phrase if I can't say it? *looks sad*
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:51, Reply)

Mr Bin is out. Today was the end of term and he was given two big bars of Dairy Milk.
I may have nommed a little bit of them. It's only because I am too damn lazy to go into the other room to get more than I'm not eating more of it.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:51, Reply)

All this talk of chocolate has made me reach out for a few chunks of my Dairy Milk bar.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:53, Reply)

Right I am off again to watch a programme on discovery about torture devices! *evil laugh* See you all soon mwahahahahha
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:55, Reply)

I'm finished for the semester! Suck on that, students who aren't. Or something like that.
Are we all well here?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:55, Reply)

Badgers and Penguins are both black and white. Is there a connection?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 21:57, Reply)

We're all nice and fluffy and addicted to b3ta thanks.
How's yourself?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 22:11, Reply)

I'm fed up, but looking forward to tomorrow - if all goes well, I'll be at the airport this time tomorrow, getting ready to board the flight back to london, yay! then on saturday, I should actually be in london!
back to Britain!
I swear, without b3ta, I would have topped myself by now - the sense of humour over here is, um, somewhat different to mine.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 22:14, Reply)

If you're going to be in London this Saturday, you may want to come to the London QOTW Bash that's being held that day.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 22:18, Reply)

I had no idea there was a bash - we'll see what jet lag and mr vit c have to say about that :-)
and mrs bin - i'm living in the deep south of the USA right now, in Georgia, so I get to go to lully atlanta tomorrow, lucky me! (it's a shit hole, makes slough seem quite pleasant etc etc).
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 22:22, Reply)

Do people have lives? Or is it just the new QOTW?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 23:04, Reply)

If you're going to Atlanta tomorrow, go to little 5 points. They've got the most amazing store there in the world called Junkman's daughter.
Work christmas drinks tonight, was all very civilised up to a point...was fun :)
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 23:28, Reply)

now - just went into town to collect my pottery from the kiln :-)
isn't it bed time in the uk now though?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 23:28, Reply)

where i am we have junkman's daughter's brother - it's rather groovy - did A lot of my christmas shopping there! thanks though :-)
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 23:29, Reply)

that fit perfectly and keep meaning to tell my sister in law to go back and get me more as they live just up the road in NC.
Well there's always the coca cola museum or CNN tour if you get bored ,)
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 23:35, Reply)

I did like the world of coca cola, but it was so immensely tacky that I had to have an extra long shower afterwards to get rid of the smug american self satisfied feeling that came over me whilst there.
didn't do the CNN tour yet - is it worth it?
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 23:37, Reply)

but only because they had a gigantic polar bear which you could sit on for photos :) The CNN tour was actually pretty cool as we got to be part of a debate they were filming downstairs. If you can ignore all the Ted Turner/Jane Fonda homages then it's quite fun really.
Not saying Spak, never know who's reading ,)
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 23:45, Reply)

I had mine last week. It ended up with the receptionist and one of the guys stealing eachother's security passes. Also, the receptionist managed to get kicked out of the venue five times for appearing too young.
( , Thu 18 Dec 2008, 23:51, Reply)

I can't remember that much. I also realised my company director had a doppleganger that night.
( , Fri 19 Dec 2008, 0:04, Reply)

It was dead when I got here :(
Er... I was out screaming in a shed for three hours.
( , Fri 19 Dec 2008, 0:14, Reply)

that's what I heard!
I want to scream at my ultra religious two faced sly bitch colleague, but think it may not be a good idea.
Were you screaming for a reason, or just a general thursday evening yell?
( , Fri 19 Dec 2008, 0:20, Reply)

So, yeah, a reason.
But I could branch into some freelance stuff I guess.
As long at religious types are involved.
Slicing also a speciality...
( , Fri 19 Dec 2008, 0:21, Reply)

"Rent a Kaol" sounds like it's an idea with potential. Got a religious nutter that sits next to you at work? Get Kaol to scream at them. Toomany wrong numbers on your phone ... I could go on...
( , Fri 19 Dec 2008, 0:27, Reply)

I'll bear that in mind for the next time she tells me a ridiculous story about her church. which will be in 2009, luckily - I'm going home tomorrow! I can escape this retarded town.
where it is 22 degrees celcius IN DECEMBER.
it's just not right.
( , Fri 19 Dec 2008, 0:28, Reply)

Ouch.
I once had the misfortune of going to Miami. It was only January, but it was way to hot and humid.
( , Fri 19 Dec 2008, 0:30, Reply)

and last week it was -5 degrees C... It's a wee bit confusing.
anyhow, I'd better bid you guys adieu, as my suitcase won't pack itself, and I have a flat to clean before tomorrow. Such an exciting life.
happy yelling kaol, have a good evening spakka :-)
ttfn.
