Good morning!

Morning
How are the assembled hordes of B3ta this fine day?
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 9:42, Reply)
Mornin
Had a good bash last night. Unlike the last one where I was sober and walked into a pub full of drunk people, I let the sober people walk in on me drunk.

Anyway, I'm heading off to my parents for Christmas so will be spending most of today packing.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 9:43, Reply)
No idea
But I have re-arranged my room so I can post from bed now, wrapped in a warm snuggly duvet, which is lovely.

You have a pair, I assume?
Or are you searching for some? Mine are taken already, try Netto.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 9:48, Reply)
If I could do that PB
I'd not leave the comfort of my bedroom!

Good stuff Spakka - Drunkery is the future.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 9:49, Reply)
I had the perfect setup at uni
Computer in front of a big comfy chair, and next to the computer desk was a fridge always stocked with beer and food. On top of the fridge was a George Foreman and a kettle... best setup ever that was.

And good work Spakka- have fun at your parents. Where are you travelling to?
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 9:51, Reply)
Mine's just stuck away in the corner of the living room
Granted it's handy for TV, kitchen runs and fag breaks but until I sort out the house it's gotta stay there.

When I do get the office set up it's gonna rule ..... Might have to consider the George Foreman grill :)
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 9:56, Reply)
Sounds like the perfect setup Piston
Do you use WiFi or do you just have a long Ethernet cable?

I live in a studio-flat, so my laptop is in both my bedroom, living-room and kitchen at the same time.

My parents live in the same town I used to live in before I moved to London.

Cool cool
I have wi-fi. So very damned useful. Right, I'd better put some clothes on now as I have to go to Wakefield and finish off the Christmas shopping.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 10:35, Reply)
I've also used my laptop in the bath
but it was on a stool next to the bath. I need to have a floatation device so I can float it in the bath. I may also want to have separate floatation devices for my mousepad and keyboard.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 10:38, Reply)
I think
We're thinking about this a little too much. Mind you I was happy enough last night. A large hot bath with lots and lots of bath bombs from Lush, with good opera music playing loudly through the house.

It would appear that the 4th circle of Hell has relocated
and is now sited where my local Morrison's used to be.

Every arsehole with a dole cheque to spend seems to be there clogging up the aisles with their filthy, mewling offspring.

Apologies to the little lad in The Sixth Sense ...... "I see fat people.".

Good Afternoon
Everyone, how are we today? Henry's been at the vets this week and I only got him back yesterday morning so he's being *astonishingly* clingy.

Poor wee boy.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 12:37, Reply)
I'm packing my laptop now
but I'll be on again if I can get WiFi on the train. If not, I'll post from my parents' place.

Bye.

Afternoon folks.
I was still drunk when I woke up this morning. I'm never drinking again.*

How is everyone on this fine Sunday?

Greetings Lusty!

I'm fine thanks. Am about to visit my parents for Xmas and have been packing my stuff.

BTW: you should seriously consider the suggestion I made about starting your own specialised greeting-card buisness.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 13:47, Reply)
Hello lustful one
I take it you're feeling a little hungover today?

I'm surprised that you were drunk when you woke up this morning. You didn't seem that pissed last night.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 14:04, Reply)
@captain V
I fell asleep on the train on the way home, went to my friend's flat, fell over and passed out fully clothed on my friend Jim's bed.
Classy.

I still have christmas shopping to do and really can't be botherd to leave the house.
Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it. I'm still rather wobbly!
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 14:22, Reply)
Good luck indeed!
I am all sorted for Christmas, got my shopping done, food in, and a large bottle of port as a treat. All in all I'm feeling rather smug.

Oh yes, and here is my antidote to too much Christmas cheer:

thanks piston
for bringing a smile to my wrinkled, festered face ;o)

Damn good choice. For sheer perfection, I'd add Bing Crosbie's White Christmas...

I wonder
If there is an alternative version called White Supremacist Christmas?

I'm on a train but there is only about 8 other people in this carriage so i sprawled out over two seats. Last night was awesome although i do recall certain people grabbing my boobs! *looks at lusty and v*

Evenin' All
I'm home now, and had some dinner.
Bash was great last night, despite my total lack of being able to get drunk.

Evening Kaol
I thought I'd killed the thread there for a bit!
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 20:31, Reply)
You tried your best though, bless you.
And you were entertaining, regardless of your sobriety :)

*grins*
I did try my best!

I'd always wondered what waking up the morning after a b3ta bash would be like without a hangover.

It's pretty good, actually.
Or maybe just waking up to hear Clendrix's voice calling your name is just an amazing way to start the day :p

*grins broadly*
Oh you old charmer - it's only cos you knew it meant coffee time :)

Although I had a cigarette before I had a coffee.

Well, it was bloody lovely to have you as a house guest.
Been playing with, erm, anything since you got home?

Yes!
It's beautiful :D

I'm trying to get hold of a mate of mine, need to go see him, but he's not answering his damn phone!
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 20:44, Reply)
Evening
I am now on a train somewhere on the continent accessing b3ta with my laptop's wifi.

Glad to see you're still all alive after the bash!

* hugs *

So am I
Will be going back to Mum's tomorrow so I will have limited connectivity to the internet. So it goes. Mind you, I'll be online at work, and on Christmas day, who will be on the internet anyways?
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 21:20, Reply)
Me perhaps?
My parents have a big fat pipe. They also have a cat, so my Xmas will be full of win.

Evening guys!
I'm posting from my shiny new PC =D

Unfortunately only one of my monitors is plugged in because a cable was missing from one of the boxes and one my my sticks of RAM is borked but otherwise I'm very pleased.

And regarding boob grabbing last night. TGB was feeling left out so me and lusty did the honourable thing...
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 21:25, Reply)
Boob grabbing?
Seems I missed out. So, how was the community chest?
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 21:29, Reply)
Evening Captain V
Yay for building your own PC and yay for making sure TGB didn't feel left out!
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 21:29, Reply)
Yay?
You wanted a good old grope yourself I bet.

/incidentally all posts now written through the haze of alcohol. If I say something offensive, blame the booze.

Bye
My WiFi time is about to run out. May be back on later.

Bye.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 21:33, Reply)
@PB
It was my birthday so I collected £10 from each b3tan.

@spakka Indeed it is rather yay. Pissed off about the RAM though. It took me far too long to work out why the machine wouldn't boot. I might invest in a better PSU when I next get paid as well as the one that came with my case is a bit too loud for my liking.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 21:33, Reply)
Seeing as the post count here is about as sparse as Homer Simpson's scalp
I shall bid you all a fond goodnight and merry Christmas.

Evenin' again
It apears I've b0rked the thread before I even posted. Gah! Did manage to post to this thread from 3 different countries today so it's not all bad.

Got to my parents' 45 minutes ago and am starting the unwind process.
(, Sun 21 Dec 2008, 23:06, Reply)
Well all the best with that fella
I seem to get wound up at mine. B3ta bashes seem to be my de-stress. Is that a bad thing? Either way, on this note, goodnight, and should I not see any of you 'orrible lot post for a while, goodnight and Merry Christmas, and keep yourselves well.

All the best.
