is it turkey, ham, pickled onion and stuffing sandwiches for lunch and then bubble & squeak for dinner?
or the other way around?
Merry boxing day to you all, im working :(

But may I suggest making the bubble and squeek now, and laying it in said sandwich, with turkey, mashed up roasties, leftover sliced stuffing, maybe a few veggies to add crunch and smearing it with cranberry sauce.
Can be a little sweet, but a little thinly sliced Stilton layed on top can take the edge off that nicely.
Damn, I'm hungry now.
Unfortunately, I can only dream of the sandwich you'll be enjoying as we had Christmas dinner at the pub and I've got to wait until after Family Christmas dinner on Sunday to enjoy such delicacies.
Though I might spend the day house crawling, raping fridge after fridge until I'm spent.
Merry Sandwich Day, Halfy! :-D :-D

apart from the cranberry and stilton!
fridge raping is good, there is some cold pizza to graze on before the b&s later (sandwich won by a short head!)

I've been gorging on smoked salmon and cream cheese bagles. They are totally gorgeous, and I think extremely healthy as well.

for being paid for our hobbies... I'm off to try and find some green as a reward for after my techie 'chores' are done :-)
Halfy..I've never actually had bubble and squeek...is it just fried leftover veg, egg and cheese? (If not, I'll probably do it like that anyway - yum!) Glad you got some in the end.

Pretty much, its the sunday roast leftovers so just chop the tatties, parsnip, sprouts & stuffing, throw it in a frying pan with any veg (peas, beans and carrots in this case) fry until crunchy and serve with cold meat, baked beans, fried egg and toast!
it was most scrumptious
