Anyone ever encountered DNSChanger spyware? If so, is there a suggested way of removing it?
/Edit
MBAM (Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware) fixed it.

"The DNSChanger Trojan Horse, also known as OSX.RSPlug.A and OSX/Puper, has been found on numerous pornographic websites disguising itself as a video codec."
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I've got that one.. and, yes probably through porn..
I knew www.spankwire.com was too good to be true..
Now how do you get rid of the trojans?

For free solutions try adaware, and a-squared and spybot. Update them first and run them one at a time. May as well run CWshredder too while you are dicking about. Stick on spywareblaster too maybe if you are going to look at porn sites.
You should turn off system restore before running these tools and turn it back on later if you like to use it.
Definitely change to firefox if you haven't already.

From what I can tell the little bastard is in the router. Oh dear. Spybot and avast don't pick up anything... at all. This is going to be tricky. Oh God not another rebuild...

Best to run it in safe mode so all the little beasties are turned off. As said above, do it with system restore off as these things can hide in the restore and bite you later if you use it. Faster to run without too.
There's probably some manual removes too if you google a bit. Wouldn't hurt to run something like Avast too. I would recommend AVG, but I've a feeling it doesn't like Safe Mode (I really hate when virus scanner guys do this)
Course, if you really want to be spyware free... try this
Oh hang on, just clocked your edit...Nice work :-)
