Honestly
How the hell can sausage rolls get so head-explodingly hot in the microwave in just sixty seconds?

Incredible.

As for me
I will be going to the Flashmob at Heathrow Terminal 5 in protest of the announcement of the third runway being given the go-ahead. While it may not be enough to save the world, it will be a fun day out.

Mornin' No3L
I just leave my microwaved stuff to cool for a bit. Microwaving un-evenly distributes the heat.

I won't be saving the world today.
I will however, be getting drunk and wearing big shoes.

I'd love to see pics of that spak :)
Hope you have a good time. I'm having another planning meeting for the charity today, and making another carrot cake :)

And taking advantage of good conditions and going to fly my kite!

All so busy
I plan on monging out in front of the computer all day.

I may allow a thread of drool to dangle from one corner of my mouth as I randomly browse the internet and watch downloaded TV shows and listen to football commentary on internet radio.

I'll be trying not to feel ill and watching some football I imagine.

I am not saving the world today but I am helping Mum move house. Hopefully she will be done in time for the York bash...

The flashmob is in 20 mins and the place it's supposed to be taking place in is crawling with cops!

Spakkaman out.

That's what you get for advertising a group protest on the internet :)

Mmmm... Gammon.
I had a Gammon joint for tea last night (well, some of one). Just sliced up the rest for gammon and pickle sandwiches. Awesome.

Sadly not, I cannot save the world
I am however - hoping to catch up with a good mate tomorrow and get stoned for shits and giggles.

Today I shall not be saving the world
As I am mourning what will likely be the loss of my laptop :(

Something is ruined. I reckon the logic board. It would cost hundreds to replace. Crap.

On the plus side PoD
West Brom beat Middlesboro 3-0.

It might not be a plus for you, but I'm ecstatic about it!

Not saving the world
But did my grade 8 guitar exam today.
Waiting for the phone call with the results, so more than a bit nervous.
Edit: Passed! Woo!

Well done PSAP
Let's all get drunk!

And naked.
(, Sat 17 Jan 2009, 18:25, Reply)
Thankyou!
And good idea!
(, Sat 17 Jan 2009, 18:31, Reply)
And I'm back
The flashmob was very fun and fluffy. We all went up to the departures concourse, wore red t-shirts (and other red tops) chanted "No third runway", sang protest-songs did the conga, and threw balloons around. While this didn't change the government's mind, we all had fun. See news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/7835227.stm

Spent the rest of the day shopping and exploring the part of London I live in.

@PoD: That is a bummer. Hopefully, you can get replacement laptop-parts (eg. laptop-motherboards).

@PSAP: Congratulations on passing.

EDIT: Re good idea: Seconded!

@pretty strangers
Oooooh congrats! Is that classical guitar playing I take it? I've been playing the electric guitar self taught for 10 years but really want to get a classical acoustic, get a proper tutor, pass all the formal exams and rock out some mean Bach.
