But no, I insist.
Why post something that looks like a fuckin novel? Why not be succint.
It can't be just me that finds this annoying?

But more often than not, I feel I've just wasted 10 minutes of my life, and I'm only half way through the post.

is medium length posts that do the same. By no means is it long but the author seems to think they've shat out an epic and just have to point out how prolific they are.

hehe "man up"? My masculinity questioned due to my unwillingness to read an extended stream of consciousness on an internet forum?

Cowboy up.
A friend of mine, who's in the Marines, uses it a lot. The last time he was told to 'Cowboy up' was before he drunkenly drove a nail through his scrotum and into a log.
I would point out the idiocy and massive homosexual undertones, but he's bigger than me.

to read such drivel. If you don't like it, don't bitch and moan. Just send death threats via gaz to the author and shit in their CD drive.
Simple.

But I am simply incapable.
Amongst my heroes are Frankspencer and Legless, who manage to pack more impact into a single sentence than I can in 1000 words.
But it's just who I am. It's my style and although I've tried to change, I just can't...As people mention above I try to add depth with descriptions etc...but I find myself rambling on and on...
See? I'm doing it now.
I don't do length jokes though :)

And you punctuate! And use paragraphs! And they're a good read

I've got no problem with long posts, as long as they're not one solid block of text.
Length jokes from people who've only written 150 words get a bit old though.
