Hi,
After having been asking around, I still haven't found a decent venue for doing Karaoke in central London for when Cackers returns to London. So far, the only venue I've found is Lucky Voice, but you have to book your own private Karaoke room and they charge extortionate prices for doing so. So could anyone recommend a decent Karaoke venue in London that does Karaoke on Friday or Saturday nights (depending on which night is best for Cackers)?
Cheers.

it's got a good selection of music and I think the rooms can hold quite a lot of people... AND you can go bowling afterwards...

hey all, I'm still in London. We didn't make it across the channel owing to my brother getting food poisoning. nice!
Friday or Saturday is cool with me. Bowling!

as I'm hitching to near Sellafield reactor to visit the sea. My budget is miniscule... And hitching in London is IMPOSSIBLE!
Edit: I meant Sizewell. Oops!

Bloomsbury Bowling too, but SJD got there first.
So I'll just sit on the bench, going "hear, hear!" (Or is it "here, here!"?)
You need to book asap though, there are only 2 karaoke rooms.
Alternatively, I think there's somewhere just off Tottenham Court Road, near Oxford Street.

Then you'll get paid to murder popular songs!

verily verily 'spensive.
Why go karaoke there when there's usually a pretty cool band on? I went to see Rosie and the Goldbug there a couple of weeks back. Very good indeed.
I think think Lucky voice isn't too bad as long as you get enough people to go. The small rooms hold eight don't they? Warn you though, the rooms are *tiny*

doesn't seem like there's enough of a crowd. seeing a band could be a good alternative. then there's always just...drinking!
