Further to Lord Mue's post below, I've suggested we have the choice to give threads a nested reply. That way, Home Sweet Home threads can stay how they are, and we can choose if we want other threads to have nested replies or not.

I'm talking about having the choice, not forcing it on every thread. Why can't we have a checkbox when we start a new thread that gives us a choice? That way, long HSH threads can stay linear but other threads have the choice when they're created. I think it'd allow more fluid conversation on shorter threads. Often, I'd like to comment or respond to something further up a thread, but the conversation's moved on and the chance's been missed.
