Here's mine. From heckles.
Cinema heckles
the usual anti-copyright theft downloading things,
A specific "you wouldn't steal a car" advert comes on, to be greeted with
"I would if i could fucking download one"
This is why i lurk y'see...

Of internet grooming that was no such thing. I'm a sucker for the life affirming feelgood factor. I would put a link but I ain't found it yet.
EDIT: Here it is.
Just read it again. Yup, still favourite. Or maybe Fishy Mimsy

are all wonderful. In fact, scratch that, pretty much the whole FP is worth a look.
The best line:
"My sincerest apologies to the couple on the bench. It must have been most offputting to your stride to suddenly have a group of wet, sandy, disrevelled and tripping bikers come out of the darkness to surround you and poke your girlfriend's bare arse with a stick.
We ran when the screaming started."

Tom Cruise starts his never ending 'love' speech, I look around and see teary eyes everywhere - he finally finishes and a booming Mancunian voice shouts out 'what a fookin' poof'.
I know it is not exactly Oscar Wilde but I thought it was the highlight of an otherwise shite film.

Wow! I missed that tale from Humpty. Thanks for letting me see it. Fantastic story.
Edit - The first one that is : )

b3ta.com/questions/funerals/post54319 - I always tell people this story, it's made people laugh until they cried more than once.
However, for the favourite post I've written, it's got to be this one - b3ta.com/questions/deadbodies/post124665/ - I just like the way it flows.

When I first saw the post I nearly hit the roof, before seeing who wrote it, and laughing quite a lot!

Mrs. Liveinabin's sleep farting story is short and to the point, and gives the giggles every time.
notquitewithit's tale of his friend Dave meeting Jimmy Page is one I've retold to quite a few people.
Legless's tale of the way-haaay crabs gave me the giggles for a couple of weeks.
frankspencer wrote about having synesthesia in a way that was uniquely his. Cracked me right the hell up, it did.
I would have to go sorting through the old FP's to come up with more of them, but you get the drift- there are just too many great ones to choose from.

in the past where I've read stories here that have made me laugh, cry, angry or horny, and I've wished posts stayed open so I could add my reaction.
And that post by powervator in spike's post above is one of those.

But I can't for the life of me remember which it was.

As mentioned by Agnostic earlier - I loved his 'dead bodies' post. When I 1st read this I really did have a tear rolling down my cheek.
Now I actually know the guy personally it makes it that little bit more poignant. He's the sort of chap I think his mother would be proud of.

And Che Grimsdales brilliant post about Ikea. God, I've gone back to read it so many times, a slice of pure genious.
Whatever happened to him?

I remember reading that - it was right after my mum died and it's made me reflect on the last year. Thank you.

geegee's story of his brother who "once came up with a brilliant idea. To find out how long he could keep an ice-cube on his arsehole".
Short. Wrong. Very funny.
edit: and from page 11. proof that you need to read the whole lot

who or where, but one that made me cry with laughter was somebody's story about their brother having a chip come out of his nose and weeping about it in a Harvester restaurant.
I'll have to dig it out....
