Awesome chocolate
I'm eating a lion bar for the first time in many months and it's dawned on me: All the good chocolate has been around for ages.

The closest I can come to any "new" chocolate that's good is the kinder stuff which, if I'm not mistaken, was sold on the continent for quite some time before it became widely available here a few years back.

best chocolate thing around
is the Terry's Caramel Crunch. which is pretty new as far as I know.

Not when you find a hazlenut milka bar in your local shop in
Tufnell park. Then it's all of the awesome as you haven't tried it in years.

I've never heard of that Vipros
I'm clearly buying my chocolate delights in the wrong shops!

it's not widely available
I will be walking past a shop that sells them later though, which has just occurred to me :-D

Good chocolate
has to be Belgian.

Or Swiss at a push. Some British stuff is good for everyday consumption, but American chocolate is bloody awful. Hershey's tastes like puke.

I am still in utter disbelief
That they reissued the Texan Bar a couple of years back and I didn't have even one.

This is after decades spent bemoaning their absence from shops.

It's inexplicable *Twilight Zone music*

You ever stuck a chocolate bar
in a dirty place? ;-)

I put one in a glove box once, came out covered in fluff :(

@himjim
Hope it didn't ruin your gloves.

Twirl
I personally think the twirl is hideously underrated. I love those motherfuckers.

Nope
it'd sully the flavour and burst the bubbles.

When I was a lovely, young and nubile 18 year old.
I worked in a factory packing Wispas. They had just come out and we thought it was very exciting packing these new treats. Suffice to say I didn't stay nubile for very long and when leaving the factory I never touched another Wispa bar again.

End of story.

OMG that would be amazing
thinks of how many wispas she could smuggle about her person to devour once at home

@Becky
We used to take boxes of them home as well.

I dunno if I'm all
Messed up or something.
I know that American chocolate tastes like wax and ashes.

But why are Reese's Peanut Butter Cups so good?
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 14:18, Reply)
Yes, I have recently got back into Double Decker bars
they rock my world, which is a bit sad really
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 14:21, Reply)
@Kaol
Saturated fat is tasty. That's why low fat food isn't so nice.

Reese's cups are full of saturated fat. The tastiness of this outweighs the nastiness of the chocolate, so you like them.

But just imagine how good they'd be if the Belgians made them...

Double Decker is my bar of choice
Although I rarely eat chocolate. I'm typically a savoury snacker.

Mind you, I'm something of an admirer of the Toffee Crisp.
