This included doing a 24 hour spot in uni over my birthday on Sunday, and staying awake for 36 hours.
So, what's the longest you have had to work for in one go? And the longest you've stayed up for?

Writing a 12000 word dissertation from scratch to be handed in the following day, and then going on a massive boozing spree, which ended about 3 days later.

Nearly 5 days straight once.
That wasn't much fun.
I was getting tiny bits of sleep, at stupid times like standing waiting for a bus.

Now I get the jitters if I can't sleep for more than 5 hours straight.

Eleven and a half hours solid at Lidl about 5 years back.
Just awake in general about 60 hours travelling to Italy in a minibus in 1995. I find it hard to sleep when I'm travelling.

About 5 days, with roughly 3 hours sleep in there somewhere. Truth be told I went a bit strange because of it. Started seeing weird flourescent purple spots and worms in my visual field and seriously fucked up my general mental health for a time. Not fun.

was 53 hours when an in-duh-vidual who I worked with infected the broadcast network with the Blaster worm.
I was called back from the pub at 11PM on the Friday night and finally left in the early hours of the Monday morning.
I did have the staisfaction of being proved right about stashing 12 cans of Red Bull and 200 B&H in the "Disaster Recovery" box. :-)
I still can't believe that my fellow IT worker who infected everything before running off home and switching off his phone didn't get fired.
