My body has decided for me that that I am becoming a vegetarian. It will not allow me to eat any meat, any sauces, eggs, or even bread, pasta and cereals. All I can eat is fruit or vegetables without me having to stop after a couple of mouthfuls. In desperation to kickstart my meating habits again, I have a bacon sandwich for lunch... most of it is now in the bin. I couldn't even face just picking out the delicous bacon. Can I have a new digestive system please? I'll even swap with Pooflake for the ability to eat meat again!

Have you spoken to your doctor abuot this? That's an interesting problem that you have there.

I'd be utterly bereft without meat.
I'm more than happy to eat vegetarian food but the thought of never eating, say, a juicy steak again makes me want to cry.

I can smell the bacon. My stomach is rumbling and my mouth is watering. All I can eat is the apples I brought with me. I doubt I'd be able to manage vegetarian food either, as I just can't handle things like pasta or bread even right now.
@Ed - as I have to see him soon anyway, I'll mention it then.

my friend is Gluten intolerant and that was pretty much how her body told her - she could barely eat anything without feeling shocking.

Ed, you should know better that that about when happens when you tell people to go to bed... they get scratchy. I recommend the cholorform.

I know it's not this - I can still drink beer in my normal quantities and have no side effects. Just have to see what the doctor says.

It may be the startings of acid reflux or a peptic ulcer, perhaps?

but I'm on the verge of being diagnosed with some kind of inflammatory bowel disease, so my eating habits are going to have to change soon.

Then take a BIIIIIG course of probiotics and prebiotics.
They is good for a dodgy digestive system.
