A pan of the most delicious brownies in the world has just come out of the oven, I'm listening to really awful cheesy music and singing along tunelessly (flatmate is at work), and it's Friday tomorrow.
Why are you happy?

Steak pie made with Old Speckled Hen - still has an hour left to cook but I'm happy because it smells awesome, also, My Name is Earl is on.

I desperately need new TV to watch now that 24 has ended. When my new PC arrives (tomorrow if cunting Dell know what's good for them...) I'm hitting the torrents ;)

I got a nice bit of wood up yesterday, and today I'm covered in slightly off-white splurges.
Oh, alright then, I've built a storage cupboard and painted the ceiling.
Am now looking forward to the arrival of more wine and a Chinese takeaway.

Except I'm bankrupt till next pay day on the 19th (in my overdraft for the first time in 18 months) and it seems excessive for one person.
I'd forgotten how much I love Savage Garden.

I might do some cooking tomorrow.
I'm alright, I guess, which makes a nice change.
What would make me happy? Ice cream. There is chocolate ice cream downstairs, and I will have some, even if my motehr calls me fat.
FUCK THE POWER!

(am a BritBrit, mother has just returned from America, with lots of delicious Forever 21 clothes for me. None of which fit, as I am too fat. A depressing/delicious cycle awaits)

whilst working on a research document and emailing a chap in the US that I've never met before for some assistance in location of maps.
Also: I did a piece of work today that should've taken about a week; the joys of tiny, tiny datasets and clarity of purpose!

The birds are singing. Actually, I fucking hate bird song. The sound of children playing merrily echo down the street. I hate the scabby little snot nosed bastards too.
No, I'm happy because I'm on this website, with another bottle of rum, Queen in my headphones and all sorts of fun things planned out for the summer that have all been paid for.

The chavlings round here like to bang on the windows, and one day we shall electrify them. Hee.

cos I walked seven miles today, a mostly new route. I highlighted all my recent routes on a shiny new OS map which shows I've done almost a hundred and fifty miles in twelve weeks. Bad-a-bing.

I'm volunteering at a Beer Festival. It's hard work but I get free beer. It also means I get to talk to people as I work behind the bar.
To add to it all it's being held in the lovely surroundings of the 12th Century buildings at Delapré Abbey.
