I said "I know that now I read and edited,
anyway can't chat busy watching 24 bb in 40mins"
the bb part of that stood for "be back"

Is that the defensive tone of a stubborn person who realises they've been thick.
Why, I think it is.

clearly you were in the wrong since you felt the need to edit it.

My friend is Australian. True story. She rings at odd times. She says it's because the sun rises at a different time. That sounds like witchcraft to me!

This has just replaced the ghostbusters theme (for some reason occasionally segue-ing into Thomas the tank engine for some reason...) as the song stuck in my head for the next week... I'm going to end up dancing in my exam tomorrow now...

It's Tom Jones' What's New Pussycat?
That song has been on loop in my brain for about eight years.
I don't know why and I can't make it stop. There must be a way but what...what....what's new pussycat? Woah! Woah Woahhhhhhhh!
Etc...

The hamsterdance, followed by your preferred song to be stuck. The hamsterdance is catchy and will displace anything, but the brain rejects it and will then latch on to the next song played to exorcise the evil.
At least I think that's how it works. I've always been blessed with a rather good mental playlist, so I can change what's stuck fairly easily. the default songs tend to be weird though

So it's sort of like shaking an Etch-a-Sketch? Only your brain. And without the inevitable brain damage that'd follow.
( , Tue 9 Jun 2009, 23:15, Reply)

Though if it goes wrong then having the hamsterdance stuck in your head would make you wish for the brain damage...

They always play that song on those Noel Edmonds type Christmas shows with spastics in a reindeer sleigh in Lapland.
