I've just been called a cunt by a random member of the public.
Because I'm wearing my uniform - standing outside a station, in Central London trying to make a few phone calls.
Do I look like a sodding Crow-Loving TUBE driver? I have the company name plastered all over my jacket - none of it says LONDON UNDERGROUND on it.
I'm in a bad mood now.

a tube driver?
Doesn't mean you're a Crow-ite of course. Or indeed a cunt.

I'm a proper train driver, you know the kind that actually does his job without looking at the football fixtures list to work out when I'm going to walk out on strike.
I honestly don't know how the tunnel rats get away with it (and in fairness, it's not just the drivers, its station staff too) - atleast once a year they walk out.

I'm likely to be joining the Crow-hating group.
Grrr.
Getting to Paddington will be OK (Heathrow Express) but it's either walk to Charing X (no thanks) or take the bus (only marginally more thanks than walking)

that the FA could sue the RMT for lost revenue from the football event happening in London this evening?

Why do they keep closing Tottenham Hale?
It makes things difficult for me.

As the Unions always say the people have the power so why not use the power to be reasonable?

I was working during the royal mail strikes (no particlar political reasons, just that I was only doing it as a saturday job at college and would lose more from the day of lost pay than I would gain from the pay rise... (which was incidentally the same percentage as the money the union were taking. just saying)). Was on the parcel collection desk (no delivieries due to lack of staff), and we got a ton of people coming in to complain, to which the standard response was "we know, we're here, come back tomorrow and complain at the regulars who aren't". Wouldn't have had the balls to do it, but the other person working there was one of the somewhat higher ups in (IIRC) HR, so made sure he started it.
