Fidgeting and fiddling with stuff.
I'm one of those people who will pick stuff up and fiddle with it, get bored and put it down again. Pick it up again and fiddle some more.

A while back, I was sitting at the computer (as I am wont to do) and on the desk there was this very thin (1.5mm) drill bit that someone had found on the floor and had left it on next to the keyboard so that I'd go put it away in the shed.

However, I would twizzle the drill bit between by fingers between typing and then I began twizzling the point on my nail. I made a small indenation remarkably easy. So I did another, and another and by the time Mrs SLVA came over to see what I was doing, my thumbnail and three of my fingernails looked like a golfball.

I can't word a question to which this would be an answer to, but you get the idea of what I would be asking. So, what about you?

Scalpel blades and nail cuticles.
if you know what I mean.

I've got this amazing implement
It looks a bit like a thread-unpicker-er-er, and has a tiny v-shaped blade. It's for removing cuticles in a nice clean sweep. So satisfying.

cuticles?
painful removal or just shaping them?
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:34, Reply)
well, it removes excess
like a shaver or a grater, but for les cuticles.
But it doesn't hurt or make them red. I suppose it would if you dug it right in, but it's kind of designed to skim.

I never understood why ladies do that
fookin wierdos

stop spiking me!
It looks nice and neat. Innit.

I do the same thing,
I like my nails to look nice and neat and well looked after.
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:49, Reply)
It's still odd
I can't say I've knocked back a lady due to the state of her cuticles.

Perhaps it's time I did!

For me it's more just a little thing I do because *I* like them to look neat and pretty.
I have really long fingernails so just like them to look nice.

One would assume
You're trying to get a rough surface on your fingers- all the better to pleasure your lady with.

I didn't consider that angle
but she wouldn't have bought it anyway, she made her mind up long ago that I'm slightly crackers.
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:35, Reply)
I think
That's a given for any male b3tan, surely?
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:42, Reply)
Nah.
Some of us are lovely and normal.
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:49, Reply)
I can certainly attest to the loveliness,
but I'm not sure about the "normal"?
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:50, Reply)
In our case
Lovely, yes.

Normal- Hells no!
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:59, Reply)
Whoa there!
Speak for yourself!
I'm as normal as the next man.
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:59, Reply)
Is that 'normal' as in
at right angles to everything else?
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 11:08, Reply)
No...
The "next man" is Al :(
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 11:11, Reply)
and probably
most of the female B3tans too.

Last year's biggest killer of productivaty for me was when I removed the grill from my desk-fan and decided to stick my fingers in it.
I spent weeks doing not much more than that.
(, Wed 17 Jun 2009, 10:50, Reply)
I don't know why,
But that made me laugh.
You're on a roll today, that's several times already.
