It's a wet sunday morning, which can only mean one thing...

Anybody else not leaving the house today?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 8:13, 56 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
Me!
I just got home for a Duran Duran concert and am drunk as all hell.
Am guzzling water like nobody's business but have to go to bed soon. Real soon.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 8:16, Reply)
sounds like you had fun!
which is good to hear x
i got a wee bit pissed on rum last night, just having a restorative coffee then i think i'll have a lie down...
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 8:21, Reply)
sounds like you had a good time.
music + grog = ace. generally anyways!
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 8:37, Reply)
.
Pity the concert wasn't like that video for The Reflex. Then you would have had an entire waterfall to guzzle.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:51, Reply)
Blair!
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii.
/gives massive smooshy hugs.
/hands out banned cake and biscuits.

How's you pet?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 8:29, Reply)

i was wondering if or when you might show your hamstery wee face!
*hugs too tight and too long*
how's the mouth?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 8:33, Reply)
goodlyish
I ate proper food today - yay! toast. Took me a while but I made it! Still a bit puffy though.
Hows my favourite builderychef?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 8:36, Reply)
all the better for "seeing" you, my dear!
it's been a long and productive week, which yesterday became a long and drunken evening.
we had bacardi and coke, lamb's navy rum and coke, cobra beer, lamb and chicken kebabs on the bbq, then later on, sex on the living room floor! then again upstairs.
then again this morning.
gotta love the hangover shaggin'!

Me
I've just come in from a waking night shift, after working a morning shift yesterday morning. No sleep in 28ish hours now, so no moving for me today :D
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:30, Reply)
no sleep in 28ish hours?
grr, not good.
so are you a surgeon or something?
anyway, have a coffee!
*passes coffee*
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:33, Reply)
Heh! Nooo
Surgeons get more money. I just look after folks with pretty severe learning difficulties and behaviors and that, and we're very understaffed at the moment. And yes, coffee is nectar at the moment. How's you?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:36, Reply)
a wee bit tired today, cos of all what i've listed above...
so i'm not looking for sympathies!
having a nice day off...
think i'll have an omlette...
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:41, Reply)
Ah, well there you go
Omlette time it is, clearly! And yeah, if you've gotta be tired, it might as well be from having too much fun
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:43, Reply)
trudat! normally i'm knackered from lots of hard work...
being a self-employed plumber.
this makes an interesting change...

so, this omlette...i reckon the leftover bbq'd red peppers wil do nicely! on garlic toast!

FTW ;-)
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:48, Reply)
Ah, fell asleep there.
Hmm. Omlette with red pepper sounds good. Kind of like a spanish omlette? I love that stuff.... Personaly my favorites for that are cold potatoes, omlettes and pepper. Self employed eh? Sounds like a pretty good setup, provided you're getting work and all. And I guess everyone needs plumbers

Morning peoples
On Friday night, I was declared my company's meatball eating champion, and yesterday was spent on a cycling expedition trying to find shortcuts.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:47, Reply)
Yo Spazzmo!
how's it hangin', dude?
we were just discussing hard work/party tiredness.
and omlettes...
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:49, Reply)
.
Hard work and party tiredness would be great of you woke up in a bed made of omlette. No need to get up for breakfast.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:00, Reply)
and i'v just written you a poem inspired by all that...
Yo, yo, yo
his name is Spazzmo.
He's a geeky-dude
who likes to eat food.
But not kittens.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 9:58, Reply)
Hmm
I may get someone to read that out when I'm defending my title in the office meatball eating championship.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:06, Reply)
i took my style from Zepheniah meets McGonnegal...

(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:09, Reply)
aha god that made me laugh.
ta love.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:49, Reply)
Well I was wondering what to have for breakfast...
But now it's easy - omelette it is. Also, I had a dream that I was in a comic strip in a newspaper, and a character from the strip above me was reaching down out of his frame and saucing me up one-time. It was cool!
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:10, Reply)
Moorny Rooty
Sounds like you ended up in the video for "Take on me".
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:18, Reply)
Mornin Spak!
Noooo, much as I'd have loved to be running round with Morten, this dream was far more doity than that vid.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:20, Reply)
'ning Roota...
what you gonna put with the eggs?
i found bbq'd prawns and scallops to go with the red peppers.
and baby courgettes too.
nomtastic!
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:23, Reply)
'right Badge!
Ham, mixed peppers, gonna put some dill in just to see what happens...
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:26, Reply)

or "naked"?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:27, Reply)
Naked
I forgot to mention cheese. I have to have a little cheese in my omelettes.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:32, Reply)
i got some cracking goats cheeses at Lidl a few weeks ago...
delish crumbled on top of hommelette then grilled...

mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:35, Reply)
Lidl's good for cheeses
And continental meats. Cheap and decent quality. God I'm getting old...
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:38, Reply)
i'm with you 100% there!
their black forest cured ham, sliced or piece, is excellent.
and their organic fruit and veg is better and cheaper than any of the other supermarket's.
and their beer too.
;-)
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:54, Reply)
goats cheese is win.
it's really really good with gnocchi too! /waaaaaants
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:42, Reply)

i must sort out some "soft-eating" recipes for you...my world-famous risotto etc...
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:56, Reply)

Perhaps
it was just the prevoisly unpublished X-rated version of Aha's video.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:26, Reply)
I'd have liked that
I loved Morten back then. I do think this was a bit more Aeon Flux than Take on Me. But Morten's welcome...
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:34, Reply)

Got to go home from the grandparents so I can get in to position for London next weekend... no way am I leaving the hotel though once I'm in it!
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 10:54, Reply)
this all sounds very mysterious...
a whole week in a hotel?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 11:02, Reply)
Sadly not all week
Just the weekend. If we could have afforded all week, I think we would have though.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 11:06, Reply)
holiday?
or subterfuge?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 11:09, Reply)
Bit of both
We're using the hotel to spy on the annual meeting of european nymphomaniacs.
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 11:11, Reply)
oooh, business and pleasure!
a tastey mixture.
so how's tricks?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 11:19, Reply)
It's all going well
Fun summer planned with fun people, and a few changes are likely to happen... changes that I have a small amount of control over after what feels like being spanged in the brain twice with the cast iron frying pans of realisation. But they're good and I am happy!

Hows the hangover removal going?
(, Sun 12 Jul 2009, 11:38, Reply)
hangover all gone!
it is now time to face the world.
or at least my folks. this is always a bit tricky, seeing as my ma has parkinson's and she has bad days and not so bad days. let's hope today is a not-so-bad one!
over and out

Well, yes. Not a european yet.
This is the lead up to the world wide one next month, which we'll also be observing. We anticipate your keynote speech with great interest.

Me and Maladicta are just watching this one to make sure things don't get too out of hand.
