I've had a lovely day watching a 3 1/2 hour fractured humerus repair and then cleaning up the ensuing mess in theatre. TOTALLY FUCKING AWESOME. Soon I'm off to Kendo to play with wooden sticks again. AGAIN TOTALLY FUCKING AWESOME!11!!!

Weddings are pretending to be buses and some difficulties caused by undiagnosed (at the time) mental illness have come back to bite me but work was better than yesterday.

Time to go see what I can do about the middle problem.

If you use a hairdryer
they don't dry at all they just go sort of sticky and shit and you have to start again.

The hair removal cream ate my nails. It's quite scary. The thumbs are weird. The rest are ok, just a little less smooth. They'll have recovred by tomorrow.

this evening has been good though. made egg fried rice and a concoction of prawns and homegrown pak choi in a sauce made of toasted sesame seeds pounded into a paste with garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar and ginger.

then ate lemon drizzle cake.
