As much as I like some of you people, this makes me feel so much better than you.
And a week today I get two weeks off.
Is this how vipros feels all the time?
Anyway, what have you got/done/had recently that made feel smug?

just more or less constant.
I'm amazed you haven't shopped my face onto croissant-eating guy yet

So you don't feel like you're the best person in the world, all the time?
I'm actually enjoying it rather a lot.

I feel a little smug after my weekend I guess. I've got a good week lined up which should be fun too.

You will have to forgo the pleasure of my wit and banter for a whole two weeks while I lie in the sun in the south of france and occasionally ride my NEW BIKE!
( , Mon 20 Jul 2009, 10:48, Reply)

your gay bike over the side of a cliff or something.
That would be an awful loss

As I'm off for the same two weeks.
Although I'm visiting slightly less exotic places.

I saw it at least three times at the weekend being ridden in the London bikeathon. It's shit bike.

I think your bike might be cheating on you.

why would tell me that in an open forum? Why!? I thought we were friends!?
( , Mon 20 Jul 2009, 10:56, Reply)

You're not being forced to restrain the bike and spunk on it all the time

Come Saturday I'll be getting the sad, whining gazzes from you.
"WHERE'S AL? I MISS HIM SO MUCH"

but a couple of years ago I had to fly to the US with work. I was going over from Edinburgh to Newark then catching an onward connection to my destination.
So I arrived at the gate, to be met with a seething mass of people, including beer-bellied blokes in shell suits and their womenfolk dressed primarily in pink and white stretchy fabrics. Along with their spawn dressed in Celtic or Rangers tops, going by names such as Jordan and Chelsea.
Imagine my delight when I realised this was actually the flight boarding at the neighbouring gate, a charter to Benidorm or somewhere like that, and the remaining passengers travelling on my flight were blokes in blazers and the like, with precious few children to be seen.
I don't know whether that's smugness or just snobbery, but I felt pleased.

as I had to pay for a new boiler I can't afford a holiday this year.
I get the feeling I am going to get nothing done.
