but I'm always disappointed by the quality of the sausage. Hmm... I've got some banging bangers in the freezer... I think I just hatched a cunning plan.
And curry sauce, and a can of shandy.

Surely dandelion & burdock is the connoisseurs choice of beverage when ordering at the chippy.

well, more like a mashed potato and sage fritter, battered and fried. In a breadcake.

Waters Green (RIP) - Fish & Chips, or Chips & Curry
Dane Bridge - Sausage, Chips & Gravy
Hurdsfield One (Don't know what it's called) - Chips, Rice & Curry
Acropolis - Double cheeseburger & Chips
Pizza Pantry - Triple Cheeseburger & Chips.
I really have a terrible diet!

Burger and a fish'n'chip place? Are you sure you haven't gotten kabab place and chippy confused?
( , Tue 28 Jul 2009, 17:12, Reply)

It's a chinese chippy, and everything but what I order is shit.
( , Tue 28 Jul 2009, 17:13, Reply)

This is all so terribly confusing.

It's a very odd place.
AA, the one up Hurdsfield Road is called Spring Gardens, unless you mean the Chinese at the bottom.

Although I'm almost always disapointed.
1) Large/Double Fish & Chips
2) King Rib Supper
3) Red Pudding Supper
I don't tend to get much else, although either a Jar of Cockles/Mussels or sometimes a pickled egg can be real nice. A glass bottle of Irn Bru as well!

With lots and lots of salt and vinegar. Nom. Or in our old chippy in Canterbury, chicken nuggets. They were like little balls of deep-fried heaven.
