I'm growing some chilis at the moment.
They were rather pleasantly mild when green (well, black for one plant), Have discovered today that when red they are rather hot, though if you cook them a bit they're about right. I can smell them on my hands from chopping them earlier and its making the back of my throat sting. This is after washing my hands.
