thanks for asking. That was one of your best posts EVAR. It was insightful and concise and everyone was interested in it. You should make more posts like that.
I don't know where you can get mp3s of the Shipping Forecast (this morning's was terrible, btw - very sloppily delivered) but my best holiday was Mongolia, and I think we should go somewhere with sunshine at Christmas, preferably somewhere were no one celebrates Christmas.

I was in Fos s/ mer in France recently and I felt like Gulliver but then I'm fat but man were they teeny and thin and tanned - like something out of a William Burroughs in Tangiers type story.

and Baghdad - growing up reading Arabian Nights has given me terribly romantic ideas about these places. Hard to be romantic about them now when you're rather likely to step on a landmine :(
