did Derren Brown just predict the six numbers for the Wednesday lottery main draw? It was completely live, in sync with the live BBC draw broadcast, and I can't imagine how he's done it. Of course, it's a trick, but I'm suitably impressed.

And I can't wait to see how he did it. Remember, if it was possible for anyone to do it, Camelot would never have let it get to air. He fascinates me, I wish I had his SKILLZ.

I have no idea how he did that!

So they can bleep things out/dick about if things go wrong.
He clearly got someone on the inside to relay the numbers, likely over a phone, as soon as they came out. It's the media, therefore it's a hoax. Doesn't mean it's not a clever one...

We had an analogue TV in one room and a digital in another and the delay between the two was just enough that I could turn the volume down and shout the numbers through just before they popped out on the TV she was watching. Kept me amused for a while that one.

the delay thing - and possibly misdirection, were those balls in shot for the whole 10 minutes? I forgot to watch because he made a joke at the start about watching them... I was most disappointed because I thought the reveal was tonight, but instead I will have to watch it drunk and forget it on Friday night...
I wonder if it's like how he did the coin toss trick last year...???

on a clear perspex plinth. There was virtually no delay between broadcasts, and there really doesn't seem to be a way to do it. He didn't 'call the numbers out' - they were already written down.

left hand side of the screen stops shaking just before balls are called. They cut to a still on the left.
